What you will do

• Design and develop healthcare data integrations using HL7 v2.x, FHIR, and API standards.
• Manage interface channels using engines like Mirth Connect, CorePoint, or Cloverleaf.
• Write and maintain SQL scripts for interface mapping, crosswalk tables, and data transformation.
• Troubleshoot production interface errors and perform root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
• Develop technical specifications, data mapping requirements, and system architecture documentation.
• Collaborate with clinical and business stakeholders to translate operational workflows into technical solutions.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with healthcare integration engines such as Mirth Connect, CorePoint, or Cloverleaf.
• Proficiency with HL7 v2.x messaging standards and FHIR.
• Strong SQL skills for interface mapping and data transformation.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and SOAP web services in a healthcare context.
• Understanding of HIPAA requirements and PHI handling standards.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and clinical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with EDI transactions and flat-file transfer formats.
• Exposure to RCM systems and revenue cycle workflows.
• Familiarity with meaningful use criteria and regulatory compliance frameworks.
