What you will do

• Own and evolve applications across UI, server-side, persistence, and integration layers.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues across both modern and legacy Java stacks.
• Design and implement enhancements for product and customer-facing teams.
• Maintain application security by patching dependencies and frameworks.
• Lead design and code reviews while providing technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers.
• Participate in releases, production support, and on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Strong Java experience in production environments.
• Production experience with JSF, including component libraries like RichFaces or PrimeFaces.
• Solid experience with CDI, servlet containers (Apache Tomcat), and JBoss/WildFly application servers.
• Strong Hibernate/JPA skills and proficiency with SQL.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and debugging complex production systems.
• Must be based in or able to work from Santa Clara, CA.
