What you will do

• Lead the design and development of business functions, information architectures, and infrastructure components.
• Define application interfaces, data models, and security designs for large-scale business applications.
• Code complex or high-risk components and provide technical direction to software developers.
• Analyze business value and technical alternatives to recommend optimal design solutions.
• Ensure system integration across heterogeneous environments including Web, Unix, and Windows.
• Maintain best practices in technology and stay current with marketplace trends and vendor developments.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science/related field with 3 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in complex multi-tiered software development.
• Expertise in multi-language programming including Java, C++, Cobol, and Visual Basic.
• Advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented design patterns and enterprise application integration.
• Experience with complex database management and optimization across multiple systems.
• Proven ability in enterprise system analysis and technical architecture design.
• Strong communication skills to relate technical alternatives to business objectives.
