What you will do

• Own the design system end-to-end, managing components in both Figma and code.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to implement and maintain consistent UI patterns.
• Ship UI-heavy features across the product, ensuring high performance and test coverage.
• Polish microinteractions and UI animations to improve overall product feel.
• Assist cross-functional teams with rapid prototyping for new functionality.
• Proactively identify and resolve inconsistencies in the product interface.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US
• 5-7+ years of experience at the intersection of design and code in a product-led company.
• Proven experience owning or significantly contributing to a design system.
• Deep proficiency with React, TypeScript, and Tailwind.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in both product design and frontend development.
• Experience in startup environments is highly desirable.
