Associate Director, Medical Science Liaison (Medical): Building and maintaining professional relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and researchers to provide scientific support for rare, pulmonary, and infectious diseases with an accent on scientific exchange and product data presentation. Focus on gathering HCP insights, supporting advisory boards, and facilitating clinical trial activities to improve patient outcomes.

Location: Remote (Must reside in the Pacific Northwest territory: WA, ID, OR, Northern NV)

Salary: $187,000–$244,000 Annual

What you will do

  • Engage in scientific exchanges with physicians and HCPs regarding current and future therapies in development or commercialized by the company.
  • Identify and develop professional relationships with medical experts, consultants, and investigators in assigned therapeutic areas.
  • Present product data to HCPs, academic institutions, and researchers in alignment with company policies.
  • Implement Advisory Boards and scientific forums to gather critical customer insights and feedback.
  • Support R&D and Clinical Operations with trial site identification and recruitment motivation.
  • Provide medical and scientific support to payers and healthcare organizations to facilitate medication access.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or NP/PA).
  • 5+ years of relevant field medical experience.
  • Experience in rare/orphan, pulmonary/respiratory, or infectious diseases.
  • Must reside in the designated Pacific Northwest region.
  • English: C1+ proficiency (excellent command) required.
  • In-depth understanding of the US Healthcare system and healthcare policy.

Nice to have

  • Experience in Medical Information, Medical Strategy, or Clinical management/trial experience.
  • Knowledge of health outcomes, pharmaco-economics, or population-based health management.
  • Additional clinical or research experience (non-pharma).
