Cloud Solutions Architect (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Design and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for cyber incident response and threat hunting engagement kits.
• Customize cloud kit configurations for different mission scopes and operational requirements.
• Develop automation frameworks and infrastructure-as-code templates for rapid provisioning, deployment, and reconfiguration.
• Implement encryption, namespace obfuscation, hardened configurations, and other cloud security controls.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to improve CI/CD pipelines and evaluate new cloud services.
• Conduct architecture reviews, guide implementation teams, and troubleshoot complex issues during active operations.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• An active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain DHS Suitability are required.
• 8+ years of directly relevant experience, including 5+ years designing cloud architectures.
• Strong AWS expertise, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation, cloud security and compliance, scalable architecture, automation, and scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or a high school diploma with 10+ years of directly relevant experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with cybersecurity or incident response solutions.
• Knowledge of multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures.
• Experience with Kubernetes or ECS.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP and NIST frameworks.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
