What you will do

• Design and implement the end-to-end SOX compliance program with a strong emphasis on business process controls.
• Lead risk assessments and financial reporting scoping across global operations to identify risks to ICFR.
• Provide control design advisory for key cycles including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Financial Close.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, Legal, and Revenue Operations to embed scalable controls.
• Manage co-sourced partners and external advisors for walkthroughs, control testing, and remediation tracking.
• Develop internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) aligned with COSO and PCAOB standards.

Requirements

• 10–12+ years of experience in SOX or internal audit, preferably with Big 4 and in-house public tech company experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build audit and controls programs from scratch in a pre-IPO setting.
• Strong understanding of COSO, PCAOB, ITGCs, and risk-based auditing.
• Executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Must be based in the USA to be eligible for region-based compensation.
• Experience navigating complex data environments and interfacing with engineering teams.

• IT or Systems related professional qualifications.
