DevOps Lead (AWS)

TL;DR

DevOps Lead (AWS/Kubernetes): Spearheading the architecture, security, and scalability of cloud and edge infrastructure with an accent on CI/CD automation, self-hosted GitLab, and xIoT data ingestion. Focus on architecting Unity build pipelines, implementing zero-trust secrets management, and establishing comprehensive observability frameworks.

Location: Work from home 100% of the time, or onsite at one of the company's global offices (e.g., Colombia)

What you will do

• Lead and mentor DevOps/SRE initiatives within a cloud-native environment.
• Design and maintain multi-environment AWS infrastructure (Dev, Staging, Production).
• Architect self-hosted GitLab deployments and automate CI/CD pipelines for testing and deployment.
• Configure and automate Unity build pipelines to integrate game engine workflows with the cloud.
• Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker Compose, Kubernetes, and AWS ECS.
• Implement enterprise-grade secrets management (HashiCorp Vault/AWS Secrets Manager) and centralized observability (logs, metrics, traces).

Requirements

• Professional experience: 8+ years in DevOps.
• Leadership experience: 3+ years as a Lead in a cloud-native environment.
• Deep understanding of AWS networking architecture (VPCs, Security Groups, IAM).
• Experience with message brokers (MQTT, Apache Kafka) for physical device data ingestion.
• English: C1 level (Excellent verbal and written communication).

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for infrastructure as code.
• Experience bridging cloud environments with physical on-premise hardware or edge devices.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (SOC2, ISO 27001).
