DevOps Engineer (Cloud)

TL;DR

Salary: $100,000 – $180,000

What you will do

• Deploy and manage cloud platforms using Azure and AWS.
• Build and document CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for container creation and scheduling.
• Automate builds and deployments across multi-platform environments.
• Collaborate with Ops, Development, and QA teams in Scrum/Kanban ceremonies.
• Coach and mentor teams to resolve pain points and improve operational workflows.

Requirements

• Intermediate to advanced experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
• Strong proficiency in version control (Git, SVN) and CI systems (Jenkins).
• Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, SaltStack) and Terraform.
• Proven track record with Cloud-Native applications in Linux and Windows environments.
• Broad range of scripting experience in Python, Ruby, or Go.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree.

Nice to have

• Experience with builds and packaging in Linux/Java environment (Maven, rpm).
• Familiarity with virtual development environments such as Vagrant.
