Senior Data Scientist (Machine Learning)

Location: Flexible hybrid model; in-person interviews may be required, particularly for positions based in Boston and Dublin.

Salary: $144,000–$181,000 USD annual base salary.

What you will do

• Partner with product and engineering teams in the UK and Canada to understand product requirements and available data.
• Implement, train, and evaluate machine learning models using Python and AWS SageMaker.
• Develop and maintain SQL and Snowflake data pipelines for model training and inference.
• Collaborate with engineers to deploy models to production and evaluate their performance.
• Design A/B tests and analyze results for Data Science models.
• Communicate solutions through documentation, demos, presentations, and data visualizations while collaborating with data scientists, ML engineers, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience applying machine learning to successful products and working with structured and unstructured datasets.
• Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning, model measurement, evaluation, and testing.
• Experience deploying or maintaining machine learning services in production.
• Proficiency in Python or a similar data science language and SQL.
• Ability to communicate technical and analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Advanced degree or equivalent proven experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or another quantitative discipline.
