What you will do

• Define and maintain global physical security policies covering access control, surveillance, and incident response.
• Review inbound and outbound contracts to identify and mitigate physical security risks and obligations.
• Lead the physical security domain for ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certification processes.
• Build and manage the physical security evidence library for customer and third-party audits.
• Assess the operational feasibility of security controls at various colo sites and facilities.
• Partner with Legal to negotiate security terms and propose precise contract redlines.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in physical security, compliance, or contract review within data center or cloud environments.
• Deep expertise in data center security controls including CCTV, man-traps, and cage security.
• Proven experience leading physical security domains for ISO 27001 or SOC 2 audits.
• Strong ability to extract and track physical security obligations from complex commercial agreements.
• Working knowledge of GDPR, UK GDPR, and POPIA legislation.
• Must be located in or able to work from London, New York, or Seattle.

Nice to have

• Experience in hyperscale or AI cloud data center environments.
• Background in building physical security clause libraries.
