What you will do

• Function as a Technical Specialist or Project Lead for substation projects up to 765kV.
• Develop protection, control, and physical design deliverables including schematics, wiring diagrams, and yard layouts.
• Oversee quality reviews of electrical design packages and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Prepare equipment specifications and Bills of Materials for procurement and construction.
• Coordinate project activities with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
• Proven experience in high voltage substation design (Physical or Protection & Controls).
• Strong background in project leadership and technical coordination.
• Ability to complete pre-employment background checks and screening.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) License.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with utility substation clients.
