What you will do

• Review complex customer arrangements to identify revenue recognition implications under ASC 606, including non-standard terms and bundled offerings.
• Develop and document technical accounting conclusions that are well-supported and operationally executable.
• Partner with Deal Desk, Legal, Product, and Strategic Finance to evaluate deal structures and provide guidance.
• Design and improve scalable revenue accounting processes, systems, and controls to support periodic reporting.
• Support the accounting implications of new product launches and evolving commercial models.
• Prepare technical accounting memos and maintain audit-ready documentation for complex positions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in public accounting, technical accounting, or revenue accounting within technology, SaaS, or AI industries.
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and experience applying it to complex customer arrangements.
• CPA required (inactive status acceptable).
• Experience implementing or improving revenue automation systems like Zuora Revenue or NetSuite ARM.
• Track record of building scalable workflows in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong technical accounting judgment and ability to translate complex conclusions into practical guidance.
