Location: Hybrid / In-person in San Francisco, CA
Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 + Equity

is building the document infrastructure layer for AI agents, featuring industry-leading document OCR with LlamaParse and automation tools for enterprise knowledge work.
What you will do
- Build a repeatable, high-precision hiring engine for technical and non-technical roles from 0 to 1.
- Set the recruiting strategy and personally execute searches for critical, hard-to-fill roles in AI/ML, infrastructure, and full-stack engineering.
- Optimize the recruiting stack, including the configuration and instrumentation of Ashby and AI-powered sourcing tools.
- Enable hiring managers across engineering, product, and GTM teams to define roles clearly and run consistent, high-signal interview loops.
- Develop an employer brand and candidate experience to effectively convert exceptional passive talent.
- Establish a data-driven hiring operating rhythm using pipeline metrics, conversion rates, and time-to-fill data.
Requirements
- 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally as an early or founding recruiter at a high-growth startup.
- Proven track record hiring niche technical talent in AI/ML, infrastructure, platform engineering, or developer tools.
- Experience building recruiting infrastructure from scratch, including sourcing systems, scorecards, and calibration rituals.
- Ability to operate across multiple functions, from technical hiring to GTM, marketing, and operations.
- Fluency with modern sourcing and AI recruiting tools with strong judgment on signal and quality.
- Must be based in or work from the downtown San Francisco office to absorb culture and build trust with leadership.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AI/ML, open-source developer communities, or developer tools.
- Experience in agency or vendor management.
