Salary: $50,000–$70,000 yearly

What you will do

• Develop SAS programs to validate surveillance, clinical, and research study data.
• Identify data discrepancies and inconsistencies to ensure high data quality.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive codebooks and data management plans.
• Conduct geospatial and molecular HIV analysis using R.
• Collaborate with federal partners and other analysts to support funded jurisdictions.
• Support the dissemination and reporting of data to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be based in or near Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; or Washington, DC for secure office access.
• Must be able to obtain a NAC clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in public health, statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience working with R or SAS.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and assess data from multiple sources for accuracy and completeness.
• Strong communication skills for reporting and collaboration.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in public health or statistics.
• Experience with HIV surveillance or federal health agency projects.
• Proficiency in creating dashboards using Power BI.
• Experience handling large, document-based datasets (>500,000 observations).
• Advanced SAS skills including macros, PROC SQL, and report generation.
