Acquisition Specialist (DoD)

Location: Remote

Salary: $100,000–$105,000 annually

What you will do

• Support DoD acquisition, procurement, and contract lifecycle management activities.
• Apply federal contracting principles, laws, regulations, FAR, DFARS, and acquisition procedures.
• Perform cost and price analysis for procurement decisions and acquisition planning.
• Investigate and resolve complex contracting and acquisition issues.
• Develop acquisition strategies, recommendations, reports, correspondence, and supporting deliverables.
• Provide contractual guidance to stakeholders and collaborate with program teams on procurement challenges.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in project or program management, logistics or lifecycle management, acquisition or procurement support, requirements generation, contract support, or purchasing DoD supplies and services.
• Experience may be reduced to 4 years with a bachelor's degree.
• Strong understanding of federal and DoD acquisition processes and procedures.
• Experience with contracting principles, cost analysis, and procurement documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Public Trust clearance required.

• Bachelor's degree.
• Familiarity with FAR and DoD acquisition frameworks.
• Experience with acquisition systems or integrated acquisition environments.
• Prior federal or DoD contracting experience.
