Acquisition Specialist

What you will do

• Apply federal contracting principles, laws, and regulations including FAR/DFARS.
• Perform cost and price analysis to support procurement decisions and acquisition planning.
• Develop actionable acquisition strategies and supporting documentation.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, and acquisition deliverables.
• Communicate contractual guidance to stakeholders and non-contracting personnel.
• Support acquisition lifecycle activities within DoD integrated environments.

Requirements

• Must be a US-based candidate eligible for Public Trust clearance.
• 8+ years of experience in acquisition, procurement, logistics, or program management (or 4+ years with a Bachelor’s degree).
• Strong understanding of federal and DoD acquisition processes and procedures.
• Experience with contracting principles, cost analysis, and procurement documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Prior federal or DoD contracting experience.
• Familiarity with integrated acquisition systems.
