Research Analyst (Non-Data) (Public Health)

Location: 100% remote within the United States, with residence required within reasonable commuting distance of Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; or Washington, DC. Occasional in-person meetings, trainings, team events, and secure-office visits may be required.

Salary: $50,000–$70,000 yearly

What you will do

• Ensure the capture and quality of program data from multiple sources.
• Produce reports based on program data and prepare disbursement reports for funded research and demonstration projects.
• Monitor the commitment and obligation of program funds.
• Translate scientific evidence from research literature into practical public health information.
• Support the coordination and management of ongoing program activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in public health or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience managing or running a research or demonstration project.
• Ability to work with multiple data sources and assess accuracy, completeness, and overall data quality.
• Familiarity with public health research budgets and expenditures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing needs.
• Must be able to obtain a NAC clearance and meet the United States-based location requirement.

Nice to have

• Experience handling public health research projects or conducting systematic reviews.
• Prior experience with CDC, HHS, or another federal or state health agency.
• Master’s degree in public health or a related field.
• Strong documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
