Research Statistician I (Psychometrics)

Location: Fully remote within the USA; candidates near New York offices may choose fully remote or hybrid work.

Salary: $56,000–$100,000 annually, with the hiring range adjusted based on location, experience, market conditions, and internal pay equity.

What you will do

• Perform standardized statistical analyses using large-scale internal data.
• Produce data aggregations, tables, graphical displays, queries, programs, and reports.
• Organize and manipulate datasets for specialized statistical and psychometric software.
• Maintain process maps, procedures, dataset documentation, and data layouts.
• Implement quality checks and validation procedures for analyses and business process changes.
• Support research and analysis projects as a secondary investigator and provide data guidance to research scientists and psychometricians.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, social science, mathematics, science, or equivalent experience.
• One to three years of proficiency with statistical programming; SAS, R, or Python preferred.
• Experience handling and manipulating large-scale data and developing analytical models with complex data.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Strong research, problem-solving, organization, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
