Location: Hybrid (Markham or Oshawa, Ontario); must be legally allowed to work in Canada and be able to travel to the US

Salary: $90,000 – $136,400

What you will do

• Develop and own diagnostic software solutions as part of a cross-functional agile team.
• Collaborate with architecture engineers to refine requirements and drive C++ software solutions.
• Perform software design, code reviews, and low-level test case reviews.
• Conduct verification via unit testing, simulation, and in-vehicle testing.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation according to the software development process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in C++ development following coding standards and best practices.
• Proficiency in OOP, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience working with large code bases.
• Knowledge of C or Python.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada, a valid Canadian driver’s license, and ability to travel to the US.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
• Understanding of ADAS, Motion Control, Automotive Network, and Powertrain.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and embedded software on SoCs.
• Knowledge of Automotive Platforms (Ethernet/CAN/LIN, AUTOSAR, Safe Linux).
• Exposure to sensors (LiDAR, Radar, Cameras) and OBDII/ISO26262 standards.
