What you will do

• Lead the design and layout of wet/dry piping, process mechanical systems, high-purity water systems, and chemical distribution.
• Perform engineering calculations, component sizing, and equipment specification for facility retrofits.
• Produce detailed construction documents including plans, P&IDs, schedules, and technical specifications.
• Partner with cross-functional design teams, equipment owners, and vendors to build utility requirement documentation.
• Provide onsite construction support, including RFI responses and submittal reviews to ensure design intent.
• Evaluate engineered systems and recommend technical solutions within project constraints.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Minimum of three years of practical application in chemical/mechanical facilities engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in the full design project delivery lifecycle.
• Proven ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams and communicate technical requirements.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or BIM software.
• At least three years of field-level experience in construction environments.
• EIT (Engineer-in-Training) or PE (Professional Engineer) license.
