Accounting Manager (SaaS)

Location: Remote in the United States or Canada

Salary: Canada CA$170,617.20–CA$199,053.40; United States $120,000–$140,000 annually

What you will do

• Review monthly revenue, investigate discrepancies, and maintain financial accuracy.
• Manage the TripActions expense platform, including virtual cards, expense approvals, NetSuite updates, and expense transfers.
• Lead month-end close, complete reconciliations, and prepare financial statements with notes for Finance review.
• Oversee the staff accountant, including training and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and accounts payable submissions.
• Support annual audits, prepare year-end financial statements, assist with tax compliance, and file annual 1099 forms.
• Prepare ad hoc reports for FP&A and other teams and support transitions to new financial software.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency with Excel and NetSuite, with the ability to quickly learn new software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail, prioritization, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
