What you will do

• Own the end-to-end direct customer pricing process from bid receipt through proposal submission.
• Develop comprehensive material and labor cost estimates by analyzing RFQs, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Establish and maintain pricing frameworks, rate tables, and cost models to ensure consistent bid development.
• Analyze bid history, win/loss trends, and market conditions to refine pricing strategies.
• Directly supervise and coach the Automatic Door Estimator, managing workload and performance.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and procurement to validate material availability, lead times, and installation costs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in pricing, estimating, or bid management, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop direct reports.
• Proficiency in reading architectural drawings and technical specifications.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP or CRM systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with customers and internal stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in the automatic door or access solutions industry.
• Knowledge of ADA requirements and building accessibility standards.
• AAADM certification or equivalent industry credentials.
• Experience supporting national accounts or multi-site customers.
