What you will do

• Setup, operate, and maintain CNC machines, robotic systems, and secondary production machinery.
• Read blueprints, sketches, and operation sheets to perform complex machining operations.
• Instruct operators on proper procedures and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Diagnose operating difficulties and perform remedial adjustments such as tool changes and offsets.
• Perform statistical quality inspection and maintain production and scrap records.
• Manage departmental stock and maintain a neat, orderly work area.

Requirements

• Location: Onsite in Berlin, CT
• High school or trade school diploma or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 3 years conventional machine experience and 1 year CNC machine experience
• Extensive background in blueprint reading and shop math.
• Knowledge of plant safety regulations.
