• Build and manage an ambitious slate of documentary ideas aligned with commissioning needs.

• Manage cross-departmental collaboration and line management of a diverse team.
• Drive business growth through strong commissioner relationships and successful idea origination.
• Oversee financial and budget planning with sound editorial judgement in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must be based onsite in London, UK.
• Proven senior-level experience in documentary development for UK and US markets.
• Strong business-winning track record and commissioner relationships, especially in the US.
• Excellent writing, pitching, and idea generation skills for premium factual content.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
• Experience in financial and budget planning with strong editorial judgement.
