Salary: $191,760 - $287,640

What you will do

• Set technical direction for core replenishment R&D, aligning modeling roadmaps with business strategy.
• Model inventory decay, price elasticity, and multi-echelon inventory optimization problems.
• Drive fundamental changes to core systems from research through production using scalable code.
• Lead R&D for new product challenges and mentor scientists and engineers.
• Raise the technical bar across the Intelligence team by setting standards for experimental rigor.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Operations Research, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or another quantitative field.
• 8+ years of industry experience (for MS) or 4+ years (for PhD).
• Experience building systems for large-scale decision making under uncertainty.
• Ability to deliver high-quality software implementations using the Python data stack (numpy, torch, pandas).
• Must be based in the US (specific states only).
• Company sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in inventory optimization, supply chain management, game theory, or stochastic optimization.
• Understanding of ML Platform architecture.
