TL;DR
Staff Data Scientist (AI/ML): Designing and deploying production machine learning models for pricing and availability optimization within a mobility marketplace with an accent on scalability and marketplace efficiency. Location: Hybrid: Austin, TX (Monday, Wednesday, Friday in-office)
Salary: $220,000 - $250,000 USD

What you will do
- Design, implement, and maintain production ML models for pricing, availability, and forecasting.
- Establish the principles, infrastructure, and systems for data science to support long-term growth.
- Drive improvements in data pipelines and governance to ensure reliable, high-quality data.
- Collaborate with executives to translate complex data into strategic insights and actionable business metrics.
- Mentor peers and promote a data-first culture based on statistical rigor and experimentation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data science with a track record of scaling functions in high-growth or startup environments.
- Hands-on experience deploying production ML models for pricing, demand forecasting, and availability optimization.
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, LLMs, NLP, statistical modeling, and experimental design.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for big data and Python or R for large-scale analysis.
- Must be based in Austin, TX for hybrid work (Mon, Wed, Fri in-office).
