Assistant Director, Registered Nurse (RN)

Salary: $92,800–$102,000 per year

What you will do

• Partner with the Clinic Director to oversee efficient, safe, and effective clinic operations.
• Provide follow-up and continuity of care, including medications, referrals, and coordination with providers.
• Supervise, orient, train, and evaluate Medical Assistants, clinic staff, and volunteers.
• Ensure patient eligibility assessments and clinical practices follow established policies and procedures.
• Manage special projects and support clinic operations during regular sessions.
• Function as Clinic Director during the director’s absence, including independently managing provider coverage.

Requirements

• Connecticut Registered Nurse licensure, or the ability to obtain it
• US work authorization required
• Professional fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese; competency assessment required
• Basic Life Support proficiency.
• Experience managing clinical operations, supervising staff, and evaluating clinical competency.
• Computer skills, electronic health record experience, prioritization, and adaptability.

Nice to have

• Experience with Athena EHR.
• Previous managerial experience or experience overseeing clinic operations.
