Health and Wellness Director (RN) (Senior Living)

Location: 55-15 Little Neck Pkwy, Little Neck, NY 11362, USA; onsite senior living role with 24/7 on-call responsibilities

Salary: $120,000–$130,000 yearly, plus a sign-on bonus

What you will do

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Health & Wellness department, including compliance, planning, assessments, staffing, budgeting, and hands-on care.
• Conduct resident assessments and ensure care needs are addressed according to physician orders, regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor care-plan effectiveness through documentation and communication with residents, families, physicians, and associates.
• Evaluate associate competencies, provide leadership, and deliver required training and in-service programs.
• Complete nursing audits, including medication carts and eMARs/TARs, to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate staffing, shift coverage, ancillary services, supplies, and ongoing 24/7 on-call support.

Requirements

• Current RN nursing license in New Jersey in good standing and graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• Four or more years of supervisory experience in senior living, assisted living, long-term care, or skilled care.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Windows, Outlook, and Excel, with the ability to learn new applications.
• Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, bending, and lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds while supporting residents.
