What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop the CDD operations team across onboarding and ongoing reviews to ensure effective performance within SLAs.
• Enforce quality standards across all CDD processes and act as the primary escalation point for complex cases.
• Drive continuous improvement of CDD procedures and workflows to identify and implement operational efficiencies.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Customer Relations, and Product teams, to resolve queries and ensure a consistent customer experience.
• Collaborate with Product and Technology teams and external vendors to optimize CDD tooling and systems.
• Produce and maintain MI reporting on team performance and quality metrics to drive data-informed decisions.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience leading a CDD or KYC operations team in fintech, banking, or merchant acquiring.
• Solid working knowledge of CDD/KYC requirements and UK/EU AML regulations.
• Strong people management skills with experience overseeing multiple workstreams.
• Proven track record of managing SLAs and quality in high-volume operational environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work from the London office.

Nice to have

• Professional AML qualification (e.g., ICA or ACAMS).
• Experience specifically within the merchant acquiring or payments industry.
• Experience implementing and enhancing tooling via CDD or screening vendors.
• Experience operating across different geographies.
