Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote in California, with additional approved remote locations in Washington, Colorado, New York, Oregon, and Texas

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 annually

WME is building internal platforms that support a leading entertainment company and its global entertainment-industry operations.

What you will do

• Design and build scalable web applications and APIs using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Develop and maintain Node.js backend services with REST, gRPC, and GraphQL APIs.
• Contribute to frontend and backend architecture and own features and services end-to-end.
• Translate operational needs into technical solutions for relationship, deal, and workflow management.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver maintainable systems.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and AI-assisted engineering workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience and strong full-stack development experience.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Node.js.
• Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with Docker and containerized workloads.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and a collaborative, adaptable approach to evolving systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Experience with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Interest in AI-assisted development and AI-powered product features.
