Associate Product Manager (Fintech)

TL;DR

Location: Hybrid; must be based in the UK and attend the Worcester or Winchester office at least 2 days per week

What you will do

• Support product discovery through customer interviews, data analysis, and persona/JTBD refinement.
• Maintain backlog hygiene by drafting user stories with clear acceptance criteria and ensuring adherence to Definition of Ready/Done.
• Assist in execution by setting sprint goals, coordinating demos, and capturing feedback for the backlog.
• Capture non-functional requirements and track defects and test coverage.
• Track flow and usage metrics, including lead/cycle time and activation signals.
• Create release notes, internal documentation, and training materials.

Requirements

• Early-career experience in product management or adjacent roles such as BA, UX, QA, or Customer Success.
• Basic understanding of agile delivery and user story writing.
• Strong communication skills and a curiosity for solving customer problems.
• Comfort with basic data analysis and dashboards.
• Must be able to work from Worcester or Winchester (UK) at least 2 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with API design, integration, and documentation.
• Knowledge of insurance distribution, including brokers, MGAs, or comparison platforms.
• Understanding of Policy Administration Systems and the insurance lifecycle.
• Experience delivering API-driven payment integrations and familiarity with PCI-DSS.
