What you will do

• Lead, develop, and manage a team of three analysts, overseeing workload allocation and professional growth.
• Maintain and automate daily reports for leads, listings, and key commercial KPIs.
• Build and govern self-service dashboards using Tableau and Apache Superset to empower stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and automated data pipelines across multiple databases.
• Apply predictive techniques and ML for churn modelling, demand forecasting, and pricing elasticity.
• Act as the primary data partner for Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Product stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in BI, data analytics, or data science.
• 1–2 years of experience leading or mentoring other analysts.
• Expert-level SQL proficiency and experience building automated reporting pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python, Tableau, Apache Superset, or Excel.
• Strong understanding of ML algorithms, statistical analysis, and data mining.
• Must be based in South Africa

Nice to have

• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in proptech, automotive, or online classifieds industries.
• Familiarity with GA4.
• Experience producing data for press or media-facing publications.
