Salary: $88,100 – $134,400

What you will do

• Create sketches, 2D/3D models, and prototypes for biotech instruments, focusing on ergonomics and technical constraints.
• Develop high-quality photo-realistic 3D imagery, exploded views, and technical illustrations for engineering reviews.
• Produce animations and graphics for user manuals, training videos, and promotional marketing materials.
• Collaborate with the Creative Team on promotional content and trade show displays to maintain visual identity.
• Maintain organized design documentation and version tracking for all visual assets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate engineering concepts into iterative visualizations for prototype development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial, instrument, or product development design.
• Proficiency in 3D Studio Max, SolidWorks, KeyShot, After Effects, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Portfolio showcasing 2D/3D renderings, animations, and design samples.
• Ability to work onsite in a traditional office environment in Rockville, MD.
