What you will do

  • Apply human-centered design principles to develop and evaluate human-machine systems.
  • Design and execute research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative analysis for product prototypes.
  • Conduct usability validation tests to identify use-related risks and ensure system safety.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to establish system requirements and optimize user interfaces.
  • Analyze technological problems and provide recommendations to inform product design direction.
  • Mentor lower-level professionals and manage project-specific processes within the technical function.

Requirements

  • Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
  • Baccalaureate degree with 4+ years of experience, Master's with 2+ years, or PhD with 0 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to work independently under limited supervision.
  • Strong analytical skills for identifying and mitigating use-related risks.
  • Experience in designing and executing product use simulations and usability validation.
