Behavioural Risk Manager (Fintech): Leading and delivering high-quality behavioural risk reviews to identify and mitigate habitual patterns of behaviour that may lead to future issues for the group with an accent on applied social research and data-driven insights. Focus on translating complex behavioural science into practical risk-based recommendations and collaborating across business units to enhance preventative controls.
Location: Must be based in the UK with a hybrid working pattern requiring at least 40% of time in Edinburgh, Bristol, or London hubs.

What you will do
- Lead the delivery of impactful applied behavioural research to identify and mitigate organisational risks.
- Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative data analysis to support risk reviews.
- Provide expert advice on ethical research practices and behavioural interventions.
- Synthesise complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
- Coach and develop team members to achieve collective delivery goals.
- Collaborate across the Group to integrate behavioural risk insights into business strategy.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Organisational Psychology, Behavioural Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in applied research design, methodology, and hypothesis testing.
- Strong project management capability with experience leading end-to-end engagements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Effective people management and coaching abilities.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
Nice to have
- Experience conducting audits aligned to IIA Topical Requirements.
- Background in financial services or consulting.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted research tools.
- Experience implementing behavioural change interventions.
