What you will do

• Own day-to-day risk monitoring across all active trading pods and external manager allocations.
• Continuously stress-test portfolio exposures, drawdown limits, leverage, and concentration risk.
• Monitor counterparty, custody, and operational risk across exchange and prime brokerage relationships.
• Enforce risk parameters with portfolio managers and flag breaches in real time.
• Produce concise risk reporting for leadership and institutional investors.
• Assess risk on new strategy onboardings, exchange relationships, and product launches.

Requirements

• TradFi background in investment banking, multi-strategy hedge funds, or systematic trading firms.
• Hands-on market or trading risk experience (not primarily compliance or AML).
• Deep familiarity with VaR, drawdown controls, leverage limits, and stress testing.
• Experience in a multi-strategy or multi-manager environment.
• Exposure to digital asset markets or crypto desks.
• Ability to operate as a team of one with a highly detail-oriented, paranoid approach to risk.
