TL;DR
Content Marketing Intern (Gamedev): Supporting LiveOps and Product teams by researching cultural and digital trends to create compelling in-game events and narratives with an accent on social media trends and competitor analysis. Location: Hybrid (Must be based in London, UK; 2 days per week in-office)

What you will do
- Monitor emerging trends in digital culture, mobile gaming, lifestyle, and social media.
- Translate research into pitches and briefs for new in-game events and themed content concepts.
- Collaborate with the Live Ops team to plan and refine seasonal content calendars.
- Conduct content audits to ensure thematic variety and freshness in live event cycles.
- Contribute creative ideas for engaging content drops during brainstorming sessions.
- Analyze competitor strategies regarding trend and event leverage.
Requirements
- Must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled in a sandwich degree that supports a placement year.
- Studying Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
- Strong research skills and the ability to synthesize information into actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for mobile games and familiarity with Merge Dragons! or similar titles.
