Sales Representative (FoodTech): Identifying and acquiring new SMB partners to join the platform to fight food waste with an accent on the full sales cycle and field-based prospecting. Focus on managing the sales pipeline, conducting in-person store visits, and guiding partners through onboarding.

What you will do

  • Own the full sales process from initial outreach to closing deals with SMB retailers and store chains.
  • Conduct in-person visits to potential partners 2-3 days per week to demonstrate value.
  • Manage and prioritize a lead list to maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Use Salesforce to track opportunities and progress partners through the journey.
  • Collaborate with the Growth team to ensure a seamless handover and onboarding process.
  • Apply the SNAP sales methodology to effectively engage diverse businesses.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
  • High energy, curiosity, determination, and a resilience to handle objections.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan territory and days autonomously.
  • Experience in sales, customer support, or hospitality (mindset is prioritized over years of experience).
  • Ability to listen actively and creatively handle objections.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and openness to feedback.
