Lead - Drilling Operations

Location: Singapore, with hybrid onshore and offshore work in the Asia Pacific region and international travel

What you will do

• Lead the competency framework and assessments for trainee drillers and drilling personnel.
• Train and support offshore drilling teams while advising stakeholders on operational and HSE issues.
• Review and implement work instructions for drilling equipment across the APAC region.
• Optimize drilling data, borehole plans, operational procedures, and equipment performance.
• Coordinate equipment preparation, testing, maintenance, inventory, consumables, and complex vessel port calls.
• Provide remote troubleshooting, support incident investigations, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in offshore geotechnical drilling, seabed data acquisition, and sampling systems.
• Knowledge of hirify.global WISON, hirify.global SEACALF, APVDB WISON, APVDB ROSON, or equivalent Geomil and Datem systems.
• Competence with IT systems and software.
• Proficient written and spoken English.
• Ability to pass stringent offshore medical requirements and work safely at heights and in challenging offshore conditions.
• Working rights in Singapore are required; work pass sponsorship depends on quota and availability.
