What you will do

• Execute daily accounting activities and coordinate with external tax service providers.
• Lead month-end closing processes, including reconciliations and AP/AR aging analysis.
• Prepare and submit periodic tax returns (VAT, CIT, JPK, WHT) in compliance with Polish regulations.
• Develop statutory annual financial statements including Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and IT teams to resolve accounting issues and maintain vendor data.
• Administer accounting systems and coordinate operational updates.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an independent accounting role, preferably in a multinational environment.
• University degree in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and Polish tax regulations.
• Familiarity with JPK reporting requirements and KSeF.
• Proficiency in English and Polish (written and spoken).
• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Nice to have

• Experience with process automation and accounting system enhancements.
• Working knowledge of international tax regulations and different local GAAP.
• Familiarity with ERP and workflow management tools.
