What you will do

  • Manage global indirect tax compliance, including VAT/GST, sales and use tax, and business license registrations.
  • Coordinate and supervise VAT compliance across various EU countries.
  • Analyze data for tax returns and ensure accurate, timely filing of all documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external advisors to maintain compliance with international regulations.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of indirect tax accounts and support tax audits.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency within the tax function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of related experience in tax and accounting.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Solid understanding of journal entries and financial statement structure.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience in both public accounting and the technology industry.
  • Knowledge of international income tax and VAT.
  • Proficiency with tax software, ERP systems, and automation tools.
