Software Architect (Cloud)

Location: Lisbon, hybrid, with up to 2 remote days per week. Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered.

What you will do

• Lead software development teams hands-on in innovative project implementation.
• Make technical decisions for cloud-based projects and optimize resources.
• Design and evolve scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise architectures.
• Define development standards and guide teams on frontend and backend best practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from conception through post-production monitoring.
• Integrate containerization and orchestration platforms for reliable deployment.

Requirements

• Experience as a Software or Solutions Architect, or as a senior hands-on engineer.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with at least one modern frontend framework: React, Angular, or Vue.
• Hands-on experience with at least one backend language: Java, Python, or Node.
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes, plus microservices architecture, CI/CD, and process automation.
• English proficiency at C1 level or above and an existing legal right to work in the European Union are required.

Nice to have

• Exposure to multiple cloud platforms, frameworks, or programming languages.
• DevOps practices and toolchain experience.
• French language skills at B2 level or above.
