TL;DR
Software Architect – Cloud (Cloud Architecture): Leading the design and implementation of scalable, secure cloud-native enterprise applications with an accent on cloud platforms, microservices, containerization, and full-lifecycle software delivery. Focus on making complex technical decisions, optimizing cloud resources, evolving architecture, and guiding frontend and backend development teams.
Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work with up to 2 remote days per week. Candidates must have an existing legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do
- Lead software development teams hands-on while implementing innovative enterprise projects.
- Make technical decisions for cloud environments and optimize infrastructure resources.
- Design and evolve scalable, secure, and maintainable software architectures.
- Collaborate across the full software lifecycle, from conception through post-production monitoring.
- Define development standards and guide teams on frontend and backend best practices.
- Integrate containerization and orchestration platforms for reliable deployments.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Software Architect, Solutions Architect, or senior hands-on engineer.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with React, Angular, or Vue.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Python, or Node.
- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes, plus microservices architecture, CI/CD, and process automation.
- English at C1 level or above and an existing legal right to work in the European Union are required.
Nice to have
- Experience across multiple cloud platforms, frameworks, or programming languages.
- DevOps practices and toolchains.
- French at B2 level or above.
