Supply Chain Coordinator

TL;DR

Supply Chain Coordinator (Logistics/Procurement): Supporting supply chain strategies and relationship management with nominated suppliers with an accent on purchase order placement, supplier performance monitoring, and schedule alignment. Focus on reducing lead times and costs, managing inventory parameters, and resolving supplier disputes.

Location: Hybrid in Newton Aycliffe, UK (3 days office / 2 days WFH)

What you will do

• Identify and appraise appropriate vendors for the procurement of goods and services.
• Develop procurement schedules to support project or production demand.
• Raise and issue purchase orders or statements of work in line with framework agreements.
• Drive reductions in supplier lead times and costs to ensure adherence to operational budgets.
• Identify and manage inventory parameters and stock reduction targets.
• Monitor supplier performance, manage periodic reviews, and track key delivery KPIs.

Requirements

• At least 2 years' experience in a similar Procurement or Supply Chain role.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience in supplier selection, management, and development.
• Ability to work from the Newton Aycliffe office 3 days per week.
