Technical Product Manager (Defence)

TL;DR

Technical Product Manager (Defence/C4ISR): Leading the technical direction of interoperability standards for the IRIS product with an accent on tracking and evaluating standards such as MIP, LINK 16, and NFFI. Focus on aligning technical roadmaps with business needs and serving as a subject matter expert on C4ISR interoperability.

Location: Aarhus, Denmark. Must have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years and be able to present a clean criminal record.

What you will do

• Track and evaluate changes to interoperability standards (MIP, LINK 16, NFFI) and assess new emerging ones.
• Align with the Business Product Manager to define and prioritize the technical product roadmap.
• Collaborate with lead architects and development teams to ensure solutions meet technical, customer, and business requirements.
• Conduct market research and engage with domain experts and customers to identify standard changes and their impacts.
• Provide technical product guidance to support Sales and Services in proposal work.
• Act as the primary subject matter expert on interoperability, maintaining clear internal and external communication.

Requirements

• Around 5 years of experience in product management or similar roles.
• Master's degree in a relevant field (technical, economics, or law).
• Proven experience working with technical standards and interoperability, ideally in defence or C4ISR contexts.
• Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years.
• Must be able to present a clean criminal record.

• Experience working closely with development teams.
• Proficiency in Danish.
