Salary: CAD $215,000 - $235,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead AI transformation blueprint engagements, including current-state assessments of SDLC/PDLC and gap analysis.
• Conduct executive discovery with CTOs and CPOs to define strategic goals and success criteria.
• Develop board-ready business cases linking AI adoption to value creation metrics such as revenue per head and delivery predictability.
• Manage multi-team transformation programs, translating roadmaps into sprint-level milestones and delivery plans.
• Act as an Agentic Architect on a part-time basis for hands-on execution when required by the engagement.
• Codify reusable transformation frameworks and mentor architects on executive engagement and strategic framing.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software development or technical consulting, spanning both SDLC and PDLC.
• 5+ years of experience leading transformation or technical advisory engagements with engineering and product organizations.
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tools in a real workflow.
• Proven track record of presenting technology roadmaps to C-level and board audiences.
• Strong knowledge of modern SDLC (CI/CD, DevOps, cloud-native) and agile product delivery.
• Must be based in Canada; the company is unable to provide visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Certified Claude Architect.
• Background in PE or growth-equity-backed software companies.
• Familiarity with delivery metrics frameworks such as DORA, DevEx, or SPACE.
• Experience designing AI governance and adoption guardrails for enterprise organizations.
