What you will do

• Own technical initiatives and lead design activities from development to delivery and maintenance on cloud platforms (AWS/Google/Oracle).
• Transform legacy monolithic architectures (Perl, Java) into modern service-based architectures (Java, Python) without business impact.
• Collaborate with architects to define strategy, tool selection, and the "what, why, and how" of technical implementation.
• Implement and optimize scaling, distributed architectures, caching, queuing, replications, and database solutions.
• Define engineering best practices, perform code reviews, and drive the organization toward becoming a center of technology excellence.
• Represent the company technically through seminars, blogs, and open-source contributions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Expert proficiency in Java and relational databases (MySQL, Postgres).
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud).
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, storage, internet protocols, and networking.
• Proven track record of scaling applications to handle significantly increased loads.
• Ability to motivate and guide individual contributors and other engineers.
