What you will do

• Drive the design and implementation of a resilient and scalable microservices architecture.
• Define technical standards, best practices, and guidelines for development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Act as a subject matter expert for e-commerce platform architecture, leading architectural and code reviews.
• Shape the technical vision for the domain and collaborate with other global domain leaders.
• Contribute to hands-on coding, system design, and incident management.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to cross-functional development teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in a Senior, Staff, or Architect role.
• Strong expertise in Java and high-performance distributed systems.
• Deep experience with architectures ranging from Monoliths to Microservices and Serverless.
• Hands-on experience with GCP and AWS, including cloud migration projects.
• Must be open to a hybrid work model from the Kraków or Warsaw office once a week.
• English proficiency: C1+ (Very good command).

Nice to have

• Experience in the e-commerce domain.
• Proficiency with AI tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude to enhance productivity.
