What you will do

• Perform software license compliance analysis and execute reconciliations across strategic and non-strategic vendors.
• Analyze software contracts and licensing terms to interpret entitlements, restrictions, and compliance requirements.
• Research and validate software asset data to resolve inventory and entitlement discrepancies.
• Support internal and external software audits by preparing documentation and compliance evidence.
• Identify software optimization opportunities and recommend adjustments to reduce costs.
• Utilize ServiceNow to support SAM processes and execute governance workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM), ITAM, or software licensing.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models and contract interpretation.
• Experience with data analysis, troubleshooting, and reconciliation activities.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow or similar asset management platforms and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model in Chandler, AZ, Charlotte, NC, or Minneapolis, MN.

Nice to have

• Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) certification.
• Experience with AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or Gemini.
• Prior experience in financial services, technology companies, or highly regulated environments.
