TL;DR

Location: Rostock, Germany (Hybrid: up to 8 days of mobile work per month)

What you will do

  • Lead and develop a team of engineers specializing in automation and integration testing.
  • Manage global responsibility for wind turbine subsystem integration tests using HIL and rest bus simulation.
  • Coordinate test activities across internal and international labs to ensure consistent quality and coverage.
  • Scale and enhance the automation test infrastructure to meet future product requirements.
  • Optimize processes and workflows within the Test Center organization through data-driven improvements.
  • Act as the central point of contact for stakeholders in engineering and project management regarding test strategies.

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
  • Extensive experience in the wind industry with solid knowledge of wind turbine systems.
  • Proven expertise in test automation and tools such as Python, imc Famos, Matlab, or LabVIEW.
  • Fluent English and German communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness for occasional international travel.
