What you will do

• Design and integrate electrical systems, including safety-related Class 1E, SC2, and SC3 systems.
• Conduct power system studies using ETAP, including load flow, short circuit, and motor starting analysis.
• Develop key engineering deliverables such as single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and load lists.
• Prepare technical specifications for power transformers, switchgear, diesel generators, and UPS systems.
• Manage grid interconnection and protection requirements in coordination with external utility stakeholders.
• Ensure strict compliance with US NRC, Canadian CNSC, and international (IEC/IEEE) standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in high-reliability industries such as Nuclear, Power generation, Oil & gas, or Military.
• Strong expertise in electrical power systems design, protection, and coordination.
• Hands-on experience with ETAP or similar power system analysis tools.
• Practical experience configuring protective relays, preferably SEL or GE Multilin.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and standards including IEEE, IEC, NEC, and CSA.
